Empath Home Health - PRN Home Health PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)

Empath Home Health, part of Empath Health, is seeking a PRN Home Health PTA to assist Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy services to patients in Manatee County. The role involves helping patients regain or maintain their optimal level of functioning.

Location:

Home health visits in Manatee County

Schedule:

PRN

Responsibilities:

1. Provide physical therapy services in accordance with agency policies, federal and state regulations, and the plan of care, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
2. Assist in evaluating equipment needs to enhance patient functionality.
3. Educate patients and families on self-care methods and techniques to improve or sustain functional levels.

Requirements:

• Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Florida licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• At least one (1) year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Home health care experience preferred.
