Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient rehab team. You will provide therapeutic interventions, assist patients with mobility and exercises, and document progress under a licensed Physical Therapist.

We value teamwork, adherence to safety, and quality patient care. Eligible candidates hold an Associate's degree in PTA, active PTA license, and CPR certification, with prefered rehab or acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a PTA program.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Administers interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assists with patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitors patient responses and reports progress to PT.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensures a safe and clean treatment environment.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

How you'll contribute

A Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:

• The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
