Job summary

Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association in southeastern Montana is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and achieve rehabilitation goals in a rural, community-focused setting.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with physicians and nursing staff, and delivering individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Montana PTA license/certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or physical disability.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families regarding exercises, treatment plans, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, quality care, and exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
