Job Summary: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA is responsible for documenting treatments, patient condition changes, and relevant information.

PTA Responsibilities:

1. Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to alleviate pain, restore function, and promote healing.
2. Provide skilled interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following physician orders.
3. Respond to service requests by communicating with the Physical Therapist.
4. Implement and adjust treatment plans with PT oversight.
5. Assess and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
6. Monitor patient responses and modify treatments as needed in collaboration with the IDT.
7. Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers.
8. Complete thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
9. Participate in required meetings as directed by the Director of Rehab.
