Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Austell, GA seeks a full-time onsite Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver skilled PT treatments and support patient care. You will monitor progress, guide home exercises, and maintain accurate documentation as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Eligible candidates hold a GA PTA license (or eligible), an accredited PTA program diploma, CPR certification, and CPT/ICD-10 knowledge. Join a trusted orthopedic practice focused on rehabilitation and growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare or related field is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Current Georgia PTA license (or eligibility to obtain) is required.
• Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments per physician orders and plan of care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct patients on home exercise programs and post-discharge care.
• Document treatments, progress, and discharge planning accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidential and compliant patient records.
• Record treatment charges and complete documentation daily.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized treatment areas and equipment.
• Provide support to Physical Therapy Aides as needed.
• Respond appropriately to urgent or emergent situations per protocol.
• Offer occasional administrative support including answering phones and scheduling patients.
