Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is seeking a Physical Therapy Tech to assist therapists and support patients in a busy orthopedic setting in Peachtree City, GA. You’ll help with exercises, equipment setup, and administrative tasks while maintaining patient privacy and a positive atmosphere.

The role offers on-site, full-time hourly work with opportunities to gain hands-on patient care experience and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare or physical therapy setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help patients move between exercises, set up equipment, and follow therapist directions during sessions.
• Ensure treatment areas are tidy and stocked with necessary supplies for patient use.
• Answer phone calls, assist with scheduling appointments, check in patients, and complete paperwork as needed.
• Track inventory levels and help order needed equipment or materials for the therapy team.
• Create a friendly, encouraging atmosphere for patients going through recovery and therapy.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately.
• Work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Are comfortable with physical tasks and enjoy being on your feet.
• Take pride in supporting others and contributing to smooth operations.
• Work independently while also collaborating with a broader clinical team.
