Job summary

Freedom Pointe at the Villages is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to provide individualized therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will screen, evaluate, treat, and document care while collaborating with families and an interdisciplinary team to support restoration of function and quality of life.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy, SNF therapy experience, strong communication, and AHCA background screening.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) therapy experience.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• AHCA background screening completed or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment, program planning, and implementation.
• Communicate patient progress, needs, and goals with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely to support billing and payroll requirements.
• Support residents in regaining function, independence, and quality of life.
