Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient team. You will assess and treat patients, develop personalized recovery plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (minimum) in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Indiana PTA license is required.
• CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients referred to the Physical Therapy department.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, therapy plans, and home exercises.
• Document progress notes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in staff meetings and case management.
• Supervise rehab techs and volunteers.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and student programs.
