Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Therapist with therapeutic exercises, training or treatment plans, helping patients return to a normal pattern of movement and function.

You will work in our Outpatient Orthopedic Therapy unit, a collaborative, mentor-rich environment serving a diverse patient population, with daytime shifts, a competitive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Or High School Diploma or equivalent AND Grandfathered status with the Missouri State Board for the Healing Arts.
• License for Physical Therapy Assistant active in Missouri.

Job Summary A Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Therapist with therapeutic exercises, training or treatment plans to return the patient to a normal pattern of movement and functioning as possible. The primary functions are to perform patient related activities, including delegated procedures that are commensurate with his/her educational skill and training.
