Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital; Northwest Arkansas is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide inpatient rehabilitation under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help patients with mobility, exercises, and functional activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires an Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program and an active Arkansas PTA license, with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Current PTA license in the state of Arkansas is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Rehab or acute care experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and assist with additional duties as needed.
