Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Inpatient Rehabilitation in Rogers, AR. The role is PRN with day schedules, supporting a high-quality rehab team in a busy inpatient setting.

You will assess patients, implement treatment plans, educate families, and document progress while collaborating with interdisciplinary staff. A Master’s in Speech Language Pathology and related licensure are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Background in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC SLP).

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using evidence-based tools.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
  • Educate and support patients and their families to ensure understanding of therapy objectives and progress.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes with accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate high quality, patient centered care.
  • Contribute to additional clinical duties as needed to support smooth department operations.
