Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital; Fort Smith is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will deliver PT treatments under a licensed PT, assist with mobility and therapeutic exercises, and document patient progress in a collaborative setting.

The role requires an accredited PTA degree, AR PTA license in good standing, and CPR certification. Prior rehab experience is a plus; opportunities for professional growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Arkansas PTA license in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed PT.
• Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and assist with extra duties as needed.

How you'll contribute
