Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver hands-on PT services in patients' homes under the supervision of a physical therapist.
You will help improve mobility, strength, balance, and function while respecting patient independence and scheduling flexibility. The role offers a 20-hour part-time schedule with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, with locations across northern Massachusetts and surrounding towns.

At Mass General Brigham Home Care, you’ll build meaningful relationships, use your clinical judgment, and make a difference where patients feel most at home. As a PTA, you’ll have the independence to manage your patients and schedule, without giving up the support of a strong team.
Most visits will be in North Reading, Topsfield, Boxford, North Andover, with additional coverage in Danvers, Hathorne, Lynnfield, Middleton, Peabody, W. Boxford, Hamilton, S. Hamilton, Wrentham as needed. You’ll work with a diverse patient population and provide care where patients live every day.
Home care can be a big transition, especially if you’re coming from a hospital or other clinical setting. Our onboarding is designed to help you feel prepared and confident working independently in the community. You’ll also have ongoing opportunities for training, education, and professional development.
Your schedule includes dedicated time for documentation, chart review, and care coordination. Our MGB electronic documentation system gives you easy access to doctors’ notes and orders, helping make communication and care coordination more seamless.
As a PTA, you’ll provide hands-on physical therapy treatment in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist. You’ll work closely with the PT and interdisciplinary team to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and function.
