Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in a physical therapy setting required.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, modalities, and interventions.
• Ability to work with supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory standards.
• Physical stamina to assist with activities and exercises.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating treatment effectiveness.
• Implement interventions for posture, balance, locomotion, strength, and endurance.
• Administer treatments under supervision and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Monitor progress and report patient responses to the supervisor.
• Educate patients on exercises and self-management strategies.
• Tailor approaches to age, development, culture, and goals.
• Document care clearly and in compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control.
• Maintain reliable attendance and comply with policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
