Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists the Physical Therapist in evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusts plans as needed.
• Implements interventions focused on posture, balance, locomotion, strength, endurance, flexibility, and functional activities.
• Administers treatments under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Monitors patient progress and provides feedback to the supervising therapist.
• Provides patient education on exercise and self-management.
• Ensures treatment plans respect patient age, development, culture, and goals.
• Documents care clearly and accurately according to policies and regulations.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team including discharge planning.
