Job summary

The WeCare Centers Montoursville facility is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work under a physical therapist to help residents improve mobility and reduce pain in a supportive outpatient setting.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited PTA program with an active PTA license in Pennsylvania. Outpatient experience is preferred, and we offer competitive pay, health, dental, and vision insurance, plus growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
• Current State PTA License.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Preparing patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training.
• Recording patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment.
• Using assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
