Job summary

WeCare at Sycamore Care Center in Montoursville, PA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to help residents improve mobility and move forward.

The PTA supports rehabilitation plans under supervision, documents progress, and adapts treatments to patient needs, with outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
• Current State PTA License.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Preparing patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training.
• Recording patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment.
• Using assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
