Job summary

Wilson Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Wilson, NC is hiring a Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated care team. You will work under a licensed PT to provide patient care and support the rehab process.

The position offers a flexible schedule, competitive wages, and opportunities for growth, with duties spanning treatment delivery, documentation, scheduling, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state (NC).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive PT services to patients under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab.
• Document daily participation and progress in progress notes with PT co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders for treatments, recertifications and discharges are obtained.
• Complete billing and bill patients for PT services ethically and accurately.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as directed by supervisor.
• Supervise junior PTA staff or students as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, families and staff.

APTA-recognized BA/AA in Physical Therapy
