Job summary

Adoration Health in Wilson, NC, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for Wilson Assisted Living. This full-time position offers flexible hours, clinical autonomy, and 1:1 patient care in a geriatric/outpatient setting.

You will assist the Physical Therapist with interventions, document progress, and maintain patient records while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. New grads encouraged to apply; lifting 50–100 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA certification in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two-step TB skin test.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• One year preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; able to lift up to 100 pounds with safety.
• Health screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility and function.
• Provide training to individuals and others involved in rehabilitation; document results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Support treatment plan by documenting/status changes to the multidisciplinary team.
• Other duties as assigned.
