Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support a supervising therapist in delivering patient-centered care at our Clyde, NC site. You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate patients and families.

This role requires an Associate degree and licensure as a PTA in the state of employment, plus BLS certification. Strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Graduate of a program in discipline required.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan and communicates progress to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning and information regarding adaptive equipment and community support programs.
