Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our team. As a PTA, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to help treat patients according to individualized plans.

You will be part of a growing team focused on delivering quality care and positive patient outcomes. You will assist therapists in developing and implementing treatment programs, document patient responses, and communicate with the rehab team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Qualified physical therapy assistant candidates required.
• Assist patients by following individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Work under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment yielding excellent functional outcomes.
• With the guidance of the physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs tailored to each patient.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
