Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital (Royal Oak ) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans and progressing patients through therapy. This role requires collaboration with the PT, documenting progress and discharge planning under supervision.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree from an accredited PTA program, Michigan PTA licensure upon hire, and BLS certifications (AHA and ARC).

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program is required.
• Rehab, acute care experience preferred.
• LIC-Physical Therapist Assistant - MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
• CRT-BLS - AHA Upon Hire required.
• CRT-BLS - ARC Upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in treatment of patients by implementing an established treatment plan, progressing patient through the therapeutic plan.
• Communicate with internal and external contacts regarding treatment and document treatments.
• Under the supervision of a licensed PT, implements treatment and discharge plans.
