Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitation therapy under the direction of a licensed physical therapist at Pennock Hospital in Hastings, MI. You will participate in patient education and support daily care plans within a 7:00 am–7:00 pm day shift.

The role requires an associate degree from an accredited PTA program, MI licensure upon hire, and BLS certification within 90 days (AHA or ARC).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program is required.
• MI licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days (AHA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days (ARC).
• Valid driver's license required for home care travel within Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation therapy procedures to patients under supervision of a physical therapist.
• Assist with patient and caregiver education during therapy sessions.

Education

Associate's Degree accredited physical therapy assistant program

LIC-Physical Therapist Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

BLS Certification (AHA) within 90 days
