The role involves assisting with all phases of physical therapy, documenting patient responses, and maintaining clear communication with the PT, Rehab Director, and facility staff while operating standard therapy equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or PTA certification as required by state licensure.
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice as a PTA in the applicable state.
• Ability to assist with all phases of physical therapy treatments and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering high-quality PT treatment under supervision of a PT.
• Help develop and implement individualized treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of PT treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and document progress after each visit.
