Job summary

The Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Lawrenceburg, TN is seeking a full-time on-site Physical Therapy Assistant to work closely with physicians across specialties to deliver hands-on rehabilitation and patient-centered care.

You will assess and document patient progress, support treatment planning, and ensure timely communication with therapists, while maintaining compliance with licensure and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and eligible for Tennessee PTA licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Caring, compassionate, independent, and determined.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Effective time management to balance patient care and documentation.
• Experience with orthopedic conditions and treatment progression.
• Ability to adapt to different supervising therapists.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality daily treatment for patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Assess and observe patients’ abilities and tolerance to treatment to assist the supervising PT.
• Provide frequent updates with therapists, physicians, and patients on progress.
• Assist therapist in scheduling and accommodating patient needs for treatment.
• Provide timely documentation and progress reports for insurance providers.
• Complete charging for services and supplies with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to federal and state laws and TOA guidelines.
