Responsabilidades

• Schedule residents for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Lead a group exercise program 3x weekly.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Provide skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Assess and document patient progress and communicate with supervising PT to adjust treatments.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Contribute input for discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Scheduling of residents for OP and IP services.
• Lead exercise group 3x weekly.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
