Job summary

CareOne is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team at Weymouth, MA. You’ll collaborate daily with nursing and clinical staff to deliver resident care and support consistency.

The role requires an Associate’s degree, an active PTA license in Massachusetts, and a commitment to high-quality, compliant rehab services. Part-time and full-time roles available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.
  • Prefer experience in older adult rehabilitation.
  • Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
  • Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
  • Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
  • Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
  • Participates in all center directed processes and services.
  • Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
  • Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.

The Physical Therapist Assistant’s (PTA) overall responsibility is to provide care to the resident at the highest level.

Compensation

$30.00 - $45.00 Hourly

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule

Position Information

Location: CareOne at Weymouth, 64 Performance Drive, Weymouth MA

Practice Setting: (Short Term Rehab, Long Term Care)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
  • Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
  • Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
  • Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
  • Participates in all center directed processes and services.
  • Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
  • Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
  • Participates in in-service training programs as requested
  • May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis
Position Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
  • Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.
  • Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
  • Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
