Job summary

Community Health at Home in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home patient care, helping individuals regain mobility and independence.

The PTA will collaborate with PTs, patients, families and other clinicians, following goals set in a patient-centered care plan. The role requires an active PTA license, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license to travel to homes.

Competitive wages and mileage reimbursement are provided; no after-hours on-call are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active registered PTA license in the state which you practice.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One-year Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License and automobile insurance
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• The PTA assists patients in the comfort of their own homes to regain independence by improving mobility and function.
• Works collaboratively with the PT, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve goals.
