Job summary

CommonSpirit Health at Home Bristelcone Home Care seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Colorado Springs, providing in-home care to help patients regain mobility and independence. You will collaborate with the PT, families and the care team to deliver patient-centered services and meet personalized goals.

This is a PRN position with mileage reimbursement and a commitment to equal opportunity employment, diversity, equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active registered PTA license in the state where you practice.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR/BLS Certification.
• One year PTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in their homes to regain independence by improving mobility, strength and function.
• Collaborate with the PT, patients, families and other health professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
• Support achievement of established goals and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join the CommonSpirit Health at Home Bristelcone Home Health team. The PTA assists patients, in the comfort of their own homes, to regain their independence by improving their mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities. The PTA works collaboratively with the PT, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve established goals.

• Mileage Reimbursement - 0.635 cents per mile

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program


• Active registered PTA license in the state which you practice


• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification


• One-year Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.


• Current Drivers License and automobile insurance


• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations
