Job summary

CommonSpirit Health at Home Bristlecone Home Health is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant for a PRN role delivering in-home patient care. You will support mobility and independence by working with patients, families, and the health team to meet individualized goals.

The PTA provides in-home services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, holds an accredited PTA degree, and maintains an active license. CPR/BLS certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• One year PTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Active PTA license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in the home to regain independence by improving mobility and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with the PT, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve goals.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join the CommonSpirit Health at Home Bristlecone Home Health team. The PTA assists patients, in the comfort of their own homes, to regain their independence by improving their mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities. The PTA works collaboratively with the PT, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve established goals.

• Mileage Reimbursement - 0.635 cents per mile

Job Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• Active registered PTA license in the state which you practice
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
• One-year Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License and automobile insurance
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations
