Job summary

Freedom Pointe at the Villages in Florida is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our compassionate rehab team. This full-time role focuses on personalized therapy, evaluation, and treatment to help residents regain function and independence.

You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team, document progress accurately, and communicate goals with residents and families. Starting pay is $30 per hour, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) therapy experience.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized Therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment, program planning, and implementation.
• Communicate patient progress, needs, and goals with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely to support billing and payroll requirements.
• Support residents in regaining function, independence, and quality of life.
