Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant functions under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist responsible for a specific client's care. The Physical Therapist Assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing physical therapy treatment procedures, case management, and executing discharge plans as specified by the treatment plan established by a Physical Therapist and in accordance with established facility/agency policies, while maintaining the highest quality of client care.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree: Physical Therapy Assistant, or Coursework/Training: Completion of Board-approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program
• Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience with adult physical disabilities as a Physical Therapy Assistant
