The Broadview Center has an amazing opportunity for a new Full Time & PRN Physical Therapy Assistant ( PTA) to join their In-House Rehab Team in Seattle, WA! $5K Bonus available for full time.

As of December 23, 2024, Foss Home & Village has a new name and is under new ownership. Moving forward, the community will be operated by Hill Valley Healthcare. Foss Home will now be known as “The Broadview Center”.

Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation services will help you recover from surgery, injury or illness. Our expertly trained team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists utilize evidence-based treatment protocols designed to help you return home as soon as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
  • Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
  • Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
  • Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
  • Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition.
  • Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results.
  • Develop treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
  • Create personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.
  • Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.
  • Advise patients on exercise techniques.
  • Advise patients and their families about in-home treatment options.
  • Provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health.
  • Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient care history.
  • Comply with rules, regulations, and procedures.
