FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient clinic in central North Carolina. The ideal candidate will treat orthopedic patients and related conditions, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, current NC PTA license, CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication to educate patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current NC PTA license.
• 3 years of orthopedic experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients, balance issues, and generalized weakness.
• Provide hands-on therapy using a range of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Document patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the primary therapist, physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Work closely with a large team of experienced Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Occupational Therapists.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in continuous professional development.

Seeking Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient clinic. This position focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, but the caseload may include patients with generalized weakness and balance issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in the orthopedic field and will be passionate for delivering evidence based and patient-centered care
