Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic. You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic issues and mobility limitations.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions using a range of techniques.
• Document patient progress in records compliant with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and rehabilitation.
• Mentor clinical students as part of program development.

Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, you will:

• Provide Hands-On Therapy: Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.

• Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Work with a Multidisciplinary Team: Join a large team of experienced Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs).
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide education on conditions, rehabilitation, and the importance of ongoing self-care.
• Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a supportive and safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Engage in Professional Development: Participate in workshops, conferences, and team meetings to stay current with best practices and continue your professional growth.
• Pursue Continuing Education: Show interest in continuing education to develop specialty programs and contribute to program development.
• Mentor Clinical Students: Take on the mentorship of clinical students to help shape the future of the profession.

Qualifications
