Job summary

The Woods at Monticello is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Monticello, Arkansas. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with experienced therapists to help residents regain mobility and independence.

You will provide treatments under a licensed Physical Therapist, document progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license in the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Accurately document treatments, resident responses, and progress toward goals.
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and mobility techniques.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice.
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports resident success and quality of life.

The Woods at Monticello is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and resident-focused

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. As a Full-Time PTA, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists in helping residents regain strength, improve mobility, and achieve their highest level of independence.

What You'll Do
