Job summary

CareOne Lexington is hiring Part-Time and Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistants to join our in-house rehab team. You’ll collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to improve patient outcomes and enjoy consistency, stability, and opportunities for career advancement within our large multi-state network.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in PTA and an active state license. Work is based in Lexington, MA at CareOne at Lexington, focusing on short-term rehab, skilled nursing, and long-term

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current and active PTA license in the state of operation.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care per accepted practice methods and supervision.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Keeps timely and accurate clinical documentation and billing records.
• Participates in resident screenings and center processes.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.

Position Information

We are looking for Part-Time and Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistants to join our team!

Salary Range

$30 - $45 per hour

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule.

Practice Setting: Short Term Rehab, Skilled Nursing, and Long Term Care

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis

Position Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
• Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
