Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team on a per diem basis. You will collaborate with the Physical Therapist and care teams to implement individualized plans, helping residents regain mobility and independence.

The PTA will contribute to progress tracking, documentation, and treating patients with exercises, stretches, and modalities under supervision, ensuring safe, effective care in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in PTA program preferred.
• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Nebraska.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation.
• Provide physical therapy interventions, such as exercises, stretching, and modalities, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Work alongside residents to set goals, track progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PTA to join our team on a Per Diem basis.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents. Your expertise will focus on helping patients regain independence and mobility, improve their overall physical function, and facilitate a smooth transition back to their daily lives.
