Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team on a per diem basis.

You will collaborate with the Physical Therapist and care team to implement individualized treatment plans, assist with patient evaluations, and help residents regain mobility and independence. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; PTA degree preferred.
• Current Nebraska PTA licensure or certification.
• Strong communication with residents and healthcare team.
• Solid knowledge of physical therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT with evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation.
• Provide PT interventions under supervision.
• Set goals with residents and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
