Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health Team in Lee County, FL. This PRN position involves delivering skilled therapy in patients' homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve mobility and independence.

The role requires 6 months of relevant experience, strong communication, and reliability, with transportation to home visits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Florida.
• Minimum 6 months of hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

As part of our compassionate, high‑performing care team, you will provide skilled therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, function, and independence. You will implement individualized treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training, while educating patients and families on techniques that support recovery and daily living. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and adhere to infection control and safety standards to ensure high‑quality patient care and optimal outcomes.

This is a Pro Re Nata (PRN) position with variable time and hours can vary from week to week based on staffing needs, patient volume, call‑offs, vacations, or organizational requirements.
