Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health Team in Lee County. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence in patients' homes.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, educating patients and families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and regulatory

Qualifications

• License: Current and valid Florida PTA license.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months in hospital, SNF, or rehab.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking abilities.

What You'll Do

• Patient Care: Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
• Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensure: Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab required.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.

Compensation Range: $43,700.00 to $65,550.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good‑faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
