Centerville Post Acute in Centerville, OH is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help residents restore mobility, improve strength and reduce pain while pursuing their highest functional independence.

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current Ohio PTA license.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Minimum 2 years PTA experience preferred, with skilled nursing/post-acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer PT treatments and therapeutic exercises as directed by supervising PT.
  • Assist residents to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
  • Document treatments and progress in EMR accurately.
  • Educate residents and families on exercise programs and safety.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
  • Maintain clean and safe treatment areas and equipment.
  • Collaborate with nursing, OT, ST, physicians, and other team members.

Working under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA plays a key role in helping residents restore mobility, improve strength, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of functional independence.If you are passionate about patient-centered care and enjoy working in a collaborative skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment, we encourage you to apply.Position SummaryThe Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled physical therapy treatments as outlined in the resident's plan of care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
