Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy has immediate openings for a Physical Therapist Aide to support a collaborative team at a state-of-the-art facility. You will assist licensed therapists, prepare treatment areas, and guide patients through prescribed exercises under supervision.

Tuesday/Thursday 7am-4pm, with a focus on compassionate care, patient safety, and hands-on learning in a busy multidisciplinary clinic.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to support therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with therapy equipment and treatment aids.
• Strong communication and patient service abilities.
• Ability to document observations and assist therapists.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Help treat patients by preparing heat/ice packs and assisting with pool activities.
• Ensure operation of treatment equipment and report malfunctions.
• Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Prepare patients for therapy sessions and assist during treatments.
• Answer questions and provide information to patients while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and manage supplies inventory.
