Qualifications

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of the equipment used in therapy work.
• Knowledge of the behavior and needs of patients.
• Knowledge of proper strengthening techniques.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record conditions in patients.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Help treat patients by preparing heat/ice packs and assisting to pool or equipment.
• Ensure operation of treatment equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and routines.
• Prepare patients for therapy sessions and provide comfort.
• Answer calls and assist with scheduling; maintain confidentiality.
