Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy has immediate openings for Physical Therapist Aides. Join a growing organization with state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team.

Tempo: Tue/Thu 12pm-8pm; duties include scribing, preparing patients, assisting with exercises, and front-desk tasks. Requires knowledge of anatomy, therapy equipment, patient needs, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Must be able to cover 15-20 minutes from home office and provide transportation to and from work
• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology
• Knowledge of the equipment used in therapy work
• Knowledge of the behavior and needs of patients
• Ability to create and maintain records and write brief reports
• Ability to communicate effectively

Responsabilidades

• Record and edit therapeutic exercises as a scribe under supervision
• Assist patients with heat/ice, paraffin, pool and exercise guidance
• Ensure operation of treatment equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Educate patients on proper equipment use and exercise routines
• Prepare patients for therapy sessions and provide reassurance
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safe environment
• Provide equipment and supplies and position patients/equipment
• Answer calls from physician offices, hospitals, and patients with good service
• Maintain inventory and place orders for supplies
• Provide front desk coverage and scheduling as needed
• Perform other front desk duties as required
