Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator in a busy clinic. You will help with patient preparation, treatment setup, and simple administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with state practice acts.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior rehab aide experience is preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills written and verbal.
• Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management are required.
• Patient care and service that exceeds expectations.

• Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
• Complete tasks thoroughly.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists and aides.
• Safeguards and assists patients with exercises under staff direction.
• Provides routine treatments (hot/cold packs, modalities such as Ultrasounds, Electrical stimulation).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens and maintains linen cabinets.
• Restocks restrooms and supply areas as needed.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork/charts.
• Assists in tracking and ordering clinic supplies.
