Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to assist clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You will greet patients, help with treatment setup, and support therapists during sessions in compliance with state requirements.

Key responsibilities include preparing patients for therapy, guiding exercises, and performing routine treatments. Strong communication, organization, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate and/or intern preferred.
• Work Experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to document all projects clearly and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management are required.
• Patient/Client satisfaction: delivering care that exceeds expectations.
• Energetic and a team player; compassionate toward patients.
• Complete tasks thoroughly; basic knowledge of office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists.
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients with exercises.
• Provides routine treatments such as heat/cold packs, ultrasounds, electrical stimulation.
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens, maintains linen supplies.
• Restocks restrooms and common areas.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with phones, scheduling, and filing.
• Tracks non-medical and medical supplies; may order inventory.
