Job summary

Rehab United Inc. in San Diego is seeking an upbeat, friendly Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists, patients, and the team in a busy outpatient setting.

You will assist with treatment progressions, document compliance, and help maintain a safe, clean facility. CPR certification and anatomy coursework are required; outpatient orthopedic exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Assist therapists in demonstrating and supervising appropriate patient treatment progressions.
• Application of modalities, as trained/instructed.
• Assist therapists with documentation, as instructed.
• Perform all assigned opening/closing tasks, including cleaning facility/equipment, to ensure safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
• Engage and participate in staff meetings and events.
• Perform all other management assigned duties.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• CPR certification
• Completed Anatomy coursework
• Professional communication and interactions with patients and co-workers
• A desire for personal development and professional growth

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience
• Knowledge of/experience with Applied Functional Science

Compensation:

• $17.75 - $18.25 Hourly
