Job summary

Rehab United in the San Diego area seeks a friendly, results-driven Physical Therapy Aide to join our private practice. You will assist therapists with patient progressions, apply modalities as trained, and help with documentation, opening/closing tasks, and staff events.

Ideal candidates have CPR certification, anatomy coursework, strong communication, and a drive for personal and professional growth. Outpatient orthopedic exposure is a plus; join a supportive, family-oriented team.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Assist therapists in demonstrating and supervising appropriate patient treatment progressions.
• Application of modalities, as trained/instructed.
• Assist therapists with documentation, as instructed.
• Perform all assigned opening/closing tasks, including cleaning facility/equipment, to ensure safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
• Engage and participate in staff meetings and events.
• Perform all other management assigned duties.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• CPR certification
• Completed Anatomy coursework
• Professional communication and interactions with patients and co-workers
• A desire for personal development and professional growth

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience
• Knowledge of/experience with Applied Functional Science
