ATI Physical Therapy in Gaithersburg, MD, seeks a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team and support patients in recovery. The role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy, with benefits and a structured schedule.

You will greet patients, assist with intake, and help clinicians prepare treatment areas, while supporting home exercise programs and progress tracking for a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
